What a year it has been…

New 4300sqft premises for Cheltenham and Worcester, the growth and development of the fight team, the growth of our members as a whole has been great plus a whole stack of fights up and down the country, on shows such as Lockdown FC, PainPit, Samurai Fight Night, Knuckle Up, Supremacy FC, Cage Warriors, Ultimate Impact Cagefighting, Tear Up, BAMMA… oh and of course UFC!

02_Cope_Mills_11 I just wanted to take this opportunity to give my personal thanks to head coach Paul Sutherland for all his help and support in taking Trojan Free Fighters to the next level. Also to congratulate him on the progress of the pro fight team which hit a high with Che Mills winning in spectacular fashion at UFC 138.

To all our Coaches, Jon Pitman, Saeed Esmaeli, Craig Rutherford, Chico Mendes, Marc Allen, Lee Badman, Todd Reeves, Rich Newman, Tom Bradley, JP Symes a huge thanks for all that you do in parting with your knowledge to help us all grow as fighters and individuals. It is the quality you bring to the club that makes us who we are!

To the fight team I thank you for your total commitment and dedication to the sport and the club. It takes a huge amount of sacrifice to be an MMA athlete and your performances in the cage have been inspirational.

Thank you also to our members for your loyalty and support and I hope that you continue to train with us through 2012!

2012 is going to be HUGE and it starts straight away… with Chico Mendes Seminar, Ref/judge seminar, BAMMA, Valley of the Kings, Ultimate Impact, PainPit, Cage Mania in Marbella and of course Che;s return to the “Octagon” at UFC 145 vs Rory Macdonald!! ...all that before the end of the first quarter!
